Notes - Whilst there is no very strong evidence that this person is Aaron's father, and his occupation is not consistent among all the quoted children the unusual nature of the name suggests that this is all correct.
Best data from IGI and findmypast says that Aaron was bap 26/1/1705 in Ripponden (near Halifax), son of Edmond, and lived at Soy (?Soyland, about 4 miles SW of Halifax?). He married Mary ROBERTSHAW in York 3/6/1735 (both given as coming from Halifax - he aged 29, she aged 21). He was buried at Halifax 15/12/1749, and is described as a labourer.
