Notes - He was employed by the London and NW Railway company, joining them as a Junior Porter on 24 Oct 1903, at Verney Junction in Buckinghamshire. He appears to have been transferred from Swanbourne (also Buckinghamshire), joining there on 17 May 1902 and then transferred to ??Euston Ebton?? on 14 Jul 1904. Records unclear... On 21 Oct 1904 he is working at Willesden as a Parcel Porter, having been transferred from ???Exton V V.... Junct? on 19/7/04. He is dismissed on 2 Nov 1905. His height is given as 5ft 6.5in.
He was worth £18498 when he died. Benefactors were John Jackman (the younger), ie his cousin, and nothing to any of his siblings, and a solicitor
He was married (Q3, 1911) to Rosina Jane (?nee BURROWS) when he died. He died the same day as his uncle Frank. His death was following a long illness according to the funeral report on 26/8/1912.
Rosina married William WATTS in Q2 1925, and appears in the 1939 Register (DOB 19/8/1892), bapt Cheriton Fitzpain 6/10/1893, which allows a census check for 1901 which matches the mourners in the funeral report. The reason for going into this is her father was John Alfred Burrows, a farmer born 1848. Her eldest brother Alfred John, b 1880, was also probably a farmer, and so may well be the ancestor of the Burrows family who farmed the fields at Bow.
